recently ive been obsessed with those tiktok edits of prompts from justlittlethings.net (ex below)!! if you know me i love lists and i love lists about stuff i can track so i love love love this page!! today i got my hands on the book ver of about 250 of the prompts and its so cool!! its a shame they don't sell them anymore i had to get it secondhand (thank you mom)
ebay finds!! (7/28)
for my birthday i got myself two really cool items from ebay!! the first is a dvd of one of my fav animes - romantic killer !! i cant even count how many times ive watched it its just so peak !!! im pretty sure this copy is a bootleg but i dont really care LOL!! i also got 2 otaku usa magazines !! ive been eyeing these mags for a while bc they're just my thing and i ended up getting some from their 2009 edition!! i cant believe these were just like 10 bucks bc this is SICK!!! its right up my alley !! they had a yaoi section 17 years ago.. im so proud ( ◡̀_◡́)ᕤ
art academy camp (7/27)
i've just started an almost month long course at a nearby art academy and DUDEEE is it fun!! this is making me realize how unathletic i am though LMAOO standing for like four hours straight KILLEDD MEEE!!! my speciality in art is cute anime girls so imagine my surprise when the first thing i have to do is a copy of a hand (╥﹏╥) its okay though i (somewhat) cooked ?? i really wanna lock in tho since being able to oil paint is my DREAMMM rococo art is my favorite !! i got like no breaks when drawing so i lowkey rawdogged it (and for some reason had shinee's replay stuck in my head the entire time)
attempting UTAU (7/26)
randomly came across a pin on free vocaloid software and somehow immediately locked in and got UTAU LMAO !! its a pretty simple software which is pretty nice but its SO HARDD trying to find gakupo's voicebank UHUU.. i found one but for some reason it only has his breathing sounds ?? (i still cant find it so if anyone knows where that isnt $180 dollars lemme know !!) but anyway i got defoko to sing a bit of otsukare summer which was sweet!! cant wait to do more its really fun!! i WILL eventually get gakupo to sing what is love (twice not haddaway) MARK MY WORDS.
crazy thrift finds (7/25)
i had a lot of childhood books piling up so i went to my local thrift to donate them and i found some CRAZYYY good stuff there omg!! so my best find was definitely a 2008 cd album from a taiwanese boy group called "Fahrenheit" (img below!!) and i've never heard of them before but i just KNEW from their sick haircuts that their music was good. and i was completely correct. and they even did the soundtrack for the taiwanese ver of hana-kimi!!! OH and i also found a brand new apothecary diaries artbook which is SICKKK!!! i love the light novel art its so unique!! i also got some really nice dvds - hayate the combat butler (didnt even realize it's on my watchlist i just saw moe anime girls and had to pick it up LMAO), fushigi yugi (CRAZY find i was about to start watching that anyway), sailor moon s (my first time watching sailor moon btw !! i was more of a doraemon kid so i never saw it lol), and a little snow fairy sugar (looks cute !! never heard of it) and some others!!
failed bday trip (7/22)
so like my favorite place in the world is probably nyc - its so bustling and has basically every type of person EVER (and has kinokuniya and muji and yummy food ofc ofc) !! i was planning to go there for my bday and on the drive to the airport the flight got cancelled. and the only other flight was at night (it was like 9am when i got notified it was cancelled).. but its nyc so i wait at the airport til evening and then the flight gets cancelled again and apparently the weather was awful.. just my luck LMAOO!! and the only flight available was at 3am so i just didnt go (ᵕ—ᴗ—) i dont really mind cuz its a pretty normal thing for flights to get cancelled but it sure was annoying LOL !!
